History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: Valanthe was born the youngest of three triplets. While she appears to be a normal Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Fletcher, and she later adopted a second daughter.

He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Henry never married again.
