To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hugh. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

Personality: Smoking is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Smoking was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Smoking reached his early adolescence his Tabaxi father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Born in the east to a Bellfounder, Sarah learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bellfounder. After a long history of fighting, Sarah and her spouse have recently divorced.
