History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
