History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Veloptima was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Veloptima's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Qualen will drive conversation. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his singing with anyone who is interested.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.
