History: Carlin was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. When Carlin reached her early adolescence her Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She was granted martial powers by her dying brother.
