Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. The war was a terrible time for her, and Cecily does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and doesn't want to be a spy and was forced into it by his family

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Shax grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). During her travels, Shax and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Shax discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Shax fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Roofer. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 3 years.
