History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He takes great joy in being the best Bricklayer in town.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she wears tattered old clothes. She has no hair. She has a dull look in her blue eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Emmeline embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Through the years after Emmeline was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Emmeline's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and to be a weaver again

Description: Standing 5'6", this man wears a brown armored body suit, with a simple grey line shooting up and back down. He sports a flattop fur cut. He has hazel eyes and a brown hat with a grey feather.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. Elegant is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Shoemaker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shoemaker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shoemaker for hire.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and to unite with his brother
