Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. She wears a worn and beaten armor, marred by sweets. She has wavy brown hair. Her eyes are green and beady.

Personality: She can speak with the recently deceased. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She was born in the west. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Jane alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she is greedy

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She wears a red shirt, with a green mid length skirt with green tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. Her white hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. She wears a mask on her face.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Cartwright born in the past three hundred years. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: She was born in a small island village. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She's also a talented Map Maker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Expand her business; and sabotage a competitor

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His top hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Goroth grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Goroth. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: 6'6" and muscular, this southern man prefers to wear flannel. His red crest is smooth and relatively long. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and many dire rats want him driven away
