Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Darrow embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Through the years after Darrow was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Darrow's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This malnourished woman dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. Her hair is long and blonde with streaks of silver, and is pulled back with small grey clips. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She tends to her Spice Merchant job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: He is a man of bearing and well nourished. He wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Ombul speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world.

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over her head. Her blonde hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a butterfly scrunchie. Her violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: Stacee was raised in a hard working conservative environment. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Layabout and was forced into it by her family; and sabotage a competitor
