It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Qualen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tabaxis in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
