Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and to end his boredom

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Miller profession.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She's also a talented Miller, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
