History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Lewis has worked very hard to control his curse. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carter for the past few years.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and she wants revenge against illithids

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He became a Barkeep soon after.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new barkeep responsibilities is difficult
