History: Guy was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Warrior, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Warrior in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Oriel lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Mantus was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Mantus was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Mantus decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He now owns his own business.
