History: Born to a Ploughman, his father struggled to pay the bills. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a tattered pair of loose black pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. His auburn hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He has green eyes and a black hat with a brown feather.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Rûg was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Unemployed arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He carries a battered longsword and tarnished quarterstaff as well. His black crest is greasy and uncared for. His ears are large.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Direcris fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
