Sarai decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Beggar they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Fortune-teller, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: She got into the Tanner business at a young age. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents enrolled him in a Cleric school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
