History: He was born in a small forest village. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She found a children's book about a Halfling Rogue who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her parents were killed by orcs in a raid when she was still a young child. The orcs captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants to get laid; and a deep hatred of orcs
