Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Crown-heir hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Ruler who has hired her part-time. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Ruler. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Description: This tall, slender woman has the majority of her body covered in plate. Her blonde hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: 5'1" and muscular, this eastern man wears a violet shirt with thin black vertical stripes and blue pants. His silver hair is long and unkept. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He uses divination through singing.

History: Everard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Everard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Revenge; and someone believes him a fraud
