Description: This younger middle-aged man wears suspenders and grey workpants. His shirt is tan, and he wears a heavy grey leather apron most of the time, and a wedding ring on his left hand. He keeps his golden hair in a flapper bob. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ralf was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Ralf never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and someone believes her a fraud
