History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the east. When Malquis reached her early adolescence her Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: Bidreked was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Joan has worked very hard to control her curse. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
