History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and to reunite with her old friends

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He takes great joy in being the best Fortune-teller in town.
