Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Sumnes's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She moved out west to avoid the crime she committed. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and she has decided she is irredeemable

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Bethrynna was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.
