History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Ella alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the east to a Painter, Lubash learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
