Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nim grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Description: She stands about 2'8" and dresses like a well dressed Spice Merchant does. Her left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. Her hair is red and curly. Her half smiles and blue eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: She got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
