Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born to a Bookbinder, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Fortune-teller, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Alston is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Description: He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His rusty crest is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Assassin arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.
