Description: A middle-aged woman, she is dressed in earthy colors with a grey and tan handkerchief worn on her left side, and is pretty ugly. She has shaved her head bald. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: The child of a Barber, who enjoyed hunting, Maynild was taken on many hunting expeditions. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Maynild took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up hand crossbow and armor she uses now. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes orcs are coming to abduct people. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She got into the Assassin business at a young age. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with painting. She constantly tries to fill her life with painting. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
