History: Born to a Miller, her father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Banker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Alain grew up listening to her father's many stories. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.
