Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Performer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He comes from a rich western family. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Performer. He has worked as a Performer like his father before him.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Jade was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A freak accident while working with her Beggar father left her crippled. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
