Her skin is also unnaturally pale. Her tied-back hair is chestnut. Her blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Merla speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: This woman stands a little under 4'8" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates her frame. She keeps her black hair in a flapper bob. Her silver eyes peer out from beneath her wide-brimmed green hat.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Miller hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she desires power and/or immortality

Description: 6'3" and lanky with angular features, he is an attractive figure. He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His dark red hair is still thick. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Thamuz is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Thamuz was born with his mother's beautiful face. While he appears to be a normal Tiefling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
