History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Astaro grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She found a children's book about a Tiefling Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jo fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact
