History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Being a Spice Merchant kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Thiala was born on a far western mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Dyer. She now mingles about in high society.
