History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Pígug liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company.
