History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion.

Description: He wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society, and carries pickaxes. His red hair is braided into rings. His amber eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Duergath fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. She wears suspenders and black workpants. Her shirt is white, and she wears a heavy black leather apron most of the time. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Her silver hair is lengthy. Her eyes are red and beady.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. At some point she was captured by giants and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To settle down with her crush; and she's in love
