History: Virra was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her 18th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has achieved small success as a Weaver.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Weaver responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Tethren's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Tethren was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Fisher and was forced into it by his family; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with painting. She constantly tries to fill her life with painting. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
