History: Varis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and sabotage a competitor
