History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cairn grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Thomas enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
