Description: A 4'11" northern man, he prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He keeps his golden hair in a pixie cut. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes drow are coming to abduct people. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Conrad lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of drow; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: He was born into a rich family. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: 5'3" and muscular, this northern man wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. His fur is cut close to his head. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. A true patriot, Serpent would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Description: An imposing woman with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right hand, she is dressed in earthy colors with a red and grey handkerchief worn on her right side. She keeps her long white hair kept up in a rat tail. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She likes to be helpful to her clients. She likes to prescribe proper advice to her clients. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Detective work with an outfit from a few towns over. Detective work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
