Marastyr took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up greatsword and armor she uses now. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Paelias was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. The war was a terrible time for her, and Birel does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Birel's homeland. Birel decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. After a long history of fighting, Birel and her spouse have recently divorced.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
