Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He dresses well, wearing grey shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His hair is short and golden. His fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. Her crest is copper, silky, and of moderate length. Her eyes are a pleasant gold.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Jarana was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety.

Personality: Astar speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now owns his own business.
