Description: This man stands a little under 5'4" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears just a tan suit. He keeps his red hair in a flapper bob. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is a Herbalist first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. The war was a terrible time for him, and Varis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Gifted from a young age, Varis studied abroad. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He struck the Herbalist job and began his own company from there.

Description: He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. He carries with him a set of swords on his belt, each one with a jet on the hilt. He sports a long brown beard, and similarly colored long hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: The child of a Tanner, who enjoyed hunting, Gnarsh was taken on many hunting expeditions. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gnarsh grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gnarsh. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Duvamil hails from a village terrorized by goblins. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She is wracked by social anxiety; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her martial abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
