Description: This man sports tan clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized ruby on his left hand. His hair is short and blonde. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Varis's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. The war was a terrible time for him, and Varis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Sage arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Tabaxis became a terror of the countryside. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She is greedy; and she has money and likes to spend it

History: He was raised in a island tribe. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Glassblower. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and balancing his hectic life and new glassblower responsibilities is difficult
