Personality: Shifting is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shifting fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she feels kind of lost in life

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bookbinder and was forced into it by her family; and an old rival family wants her found

She prefers to carry a monstrous two handed axe, but if one is not available she will default to her hammer. She has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amethyst on her left hand. She has styled her silver hair well, parting it to the left. Her amber eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This slender woman stands about 4'9". She wears a fine chain shirt which she covers with white colored cloaks and clothing. Her hair is chestnut and very short. Her eyes are blue and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She hates gnolls. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Grigi hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many gnolls want her driven away; and someone believes her a fraud
