History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Pyntle was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 3 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Pyntle never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Zanna was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Zanna and her spouse have recently divorced.
