Description: A 4'3" southern man, he dresses well, wearing brown shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. He wears his black hair up in a very large beehive style do. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Gardain's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His childhood dream was to be a Ploughman, but he was a colossal failure. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy gold crest. He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. He has a hunchback. His gold crest is thinning but still full. His gold eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
