Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His fur is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His copper eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Flame was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears a white coat over a black low-cut shirt, and a Stetson hat upon his head. His silver hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: Dench was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Dench was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Dench decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has worked as a Barkeep like his mother before him.
Motivation: Further expansion of business.

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 3'5" and wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). He has a very tight haircut. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly sais and pickaxes. Her chestnut hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.
History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bryseis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bryseis. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and an old rival family wants her found
