Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Bookbinder business.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bookbinder work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bookbinder work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Rolf was born on a far eastern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Weaver. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: She comes from a rich western family. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Manea was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many giants want her driven away; and she is greedy
