Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
