History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the east were limited. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: Jade lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: This woman loves music and to teach people music more than just about anything. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: Gurdis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and she is unsatisfied with her job
