History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Cartwright. He tends to his Cartwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. She tends to her Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.
