Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Maiathah is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Maiathah lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Dwarven culture. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents enrolled him in a Aristocrat school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Glassblower for hire.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and further expansion of business

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She's attracted to the PC; and she has a crush on the local animal trainer

Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it. He has relatively light skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.
