History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

Personality: She is mildly Dragonborn supremacist, though she does not identify as such. The war was a terrible time for her, and Hillanot does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Leaf grew up listening to her father's many stories. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and her religion dominates her actions
